Store & register scope

The Store Manager applies a global filter (store + register) to the whole portal, via a scope context (ScopeContext) similar to the Business Owner's.

Effects of the scope​

  • Dashboard & Sales: computed on real data, and zero until a register is open in the selected scope.
  • Inventory exercise: an InventoryExercise is attached to a store (storeId) and locks the registers involved during counting.

Best practices​

  • Select the right store before any operation (reception, sale, inventory).
  • Make sure a register is open so indicators reflect activity.
