Register (§6 / §7)

This module drives the register from the manager's side and exposes the operations tied to the POS.

Functions (Store Manager side)​

  • Drawers (registers) and X / Z band — session (X) and closing (Z) register states.
  • Quotes — issuing quotes.
  • Refunds — handling returns / refunds.
  • Adjustment via register — correcting register discrepancies.
  • Resume sale — resuming a ticket.

POS side​

These operations appear in the register's Operations tray (see POS — Operations).

Register bands​

X/Z bands rely on the RegisterBand ledger (session / journal turnover computed from actually recorded transactions) — see Bands & treasury.
